Course web sitesFaculty often maintain web pages for courses or personal use. Often, links to these pages can be found through their respective departments. A list of Undergraduate Academic Programs at Eastern Michigan Univesity can be found at this page. If your professor has not listed his or her page on the department's site, ask your professor for the URL to the course homepage. Library reserve/Electronic materialsMaterials can be reserved online through the Halle Library Web Voyager. After finding the material you want to reserve, click the "Request" button at the top of Web Voyager, select Eagle One card in the drop-down box, and enter your EID. Course materials may be reserved in the "Course Reserve" section of Web Voyager. Those classes with Electronic materials may access those at the Halle Library Electronic Reserves page. Additional information may be found at the main page of the Halle Library. Person-to-person assistanceThe IT Help Desk offers in-person help to those who need assistance. You can visit the Help Desk in the Halle Library at the north east corner of the Computing Commons on the ground floor. Walk-up service hours can be found on the front page of the IT Help Desk site. Student employment @ ITThose students who want experience in a real-world IT environment before they graduate or simply want to work in a professional work environment rather than a fast food restaurant should seriously consider a job at ICT. Students are exposed to a variety of IT and computer related areas such as networking, Web design, and programming, just to name a few. Interested students should seriously consider filling out a student application. Completed applications may take a few weeks to be processed, but please be patient; we're sure the wait will be worth it. |
