Online Training

ICT Offers Training Anywhere, Anytime via Online Options

ICT and EMU are offering two FREE online training options, EMU e-Training and NETG, to all EMU faculty, staff and currently enrolled students.

EMU e-Training

All faculty, staff and enrolled students - EMU’s e-Training Web site now offers over 380 free Skillport courses in three curriculums: Business Skills, IT Skills and Legacy Business Skills. The EMU etraining Web site is your window to courses on Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, Novell, Adobe, Macromedia, Java Script, Web Authoring, Web Master, Business Fundamentals, Interpersonal Skills, and Project Management just to name a few.

To explore all the courses available go to the e-training Web site at http://etraining.emich.edu using Internet Explorer on a PC. Enter your my.emich username and password on the login screen.

NETG and MVU

NetG is a FREE online training service offered through EMU and the Michigan Virtual University. This system offers unlimited training for staff, faculty and currently enrolled students in a wide variety of topics. Each topic is broken down into smaller modules. Each module is labeled according to the skills addressed, any prerequisites and the amount of time required per module.
